We have several positions available for an immediate start . We are looking for hard working operatives with a minimum of 2 years experience in powder coating . The applicants must be able to apply powder to a high standard consistently on many different products. Including both small intricate components and large fabricated assemblies in a variety of paint finishes. You will also understand and follow the different cleaning and curing cycle times from the technical data sheets. In addition you will be expected to prepare products for painting as well as checking work for defects in the finishing before curing . It is essential that you have the following skills and experience :~

Able to apply powder to a high standard and consistently to a variety of thin gauge  sheet metal components

Good knowledge of cleaning , stoving and curing cycle times

Experience of fast-paced, high quality production paint line processes

Able to read, understand and work to technical data sheets

Checking for defects

Able to prepare product for painting

Good understanding of Standard Operating Processes and a good knowledge of all health and safety systems

Maintain a high level of house keeping

Strong inspection with a good eye for detail

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30-1400 (dayshift) or

Monday to Thursday 16.45-03.15 (nightshift)
