Job Description

This is a dual role, you will be responsible for the daily running of our clients building society desk and also act as their front of house operations.

Duties will include:


  • Welcoming clients and visitors to the office in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ensuring all telephone calls are answered professionally, quickly and efficiently.
  • Check and sign for deliveries.
  • Scan post and client records
  • Open & distribute mail, sort and stamp all outgoing mail and post to mailbox.
  • Daily banking.
  • Administer and reconcile petty cash.
  • Order and control office supplies (stationery, refreshments, etc)
  • Provide client refreshments when required.

Building Society:

  • Opening new building society accounts.
  • Processing building society account transactions.
  • Handling building society money transfers.
  • Advising on the society’s services and products.

No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.  We are however looking for a well-presented candidate with outstanding communication skills. Close attention to detail is also required along with a flexible approach to work.

A clear credit score is essential and is a pre-requisite for the role.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.  Part-time working will also be considered.  Salary will be dependent upon experience.
